The event producers are seeking area restaurant vendors and artists or craftsmen to participate in the Al Copeland Memorial Powerboat Races event in 2009.
The event takes place at Kenner’s Laketown Park, located on Lake Pontchartrain, where the whole family can enter the Race Village and view the boats, meet the racers, enjoy great Louisiana cuisine, and purchase locally made arts and crafts. A children’s play area will also be available.
The Race Village is open on the Friday before the race. More than 30,000 spectators are expected over the course of this three day event.
To be a vendor at the next exciting event, contact Barbara Barnes at 251.269.1477 or b.barnes@gulftel.com.
